United Insurance Brokers Co. Ltd (UIB Korea) was established in 1997 and has been growing steadily since. We officially became a licensed insurance broker under Korean law in 2002.

UIB Korea services Korean clients (mainly ship owners and operators) with Protection & Indemnity (P & I) insurance. Having extensive knowledge of this class of business, we are able to negotiate competitive terms and conditions for our clients. Because of our success, we are now one of the top three P & I brokers within the Korean market. Building on this success, we have recently expanded our portfolio by offering Non-Life insurance services with the focus on Construction & Erection risks in the Middle East and North Africa for Korean contractors who are active in those areas. We are also providing insurance programmes for the retail operations of Japanese clients’ interests in Korea.
